When I first landed on the VeryWell Casino site, the first thing that caught my eye was the splash screen showing a 100% welcome bonus up to £200, plus 50 free spins on the popular slot Starburst. That’s a concrete hook: a maximum deposit match and a clear spin count. The sign‑up process is straightforward—just enter your email, set a password, and verify your account. The verywell login page loads in under two seconds, which is handy if you’re on the move.
Bonus Codes and What They Really Mean
The verywell bonus code “WELCOME200” is the ticket to the £200 match, but it comes with a 40x wagering requirement. That’s higher than the industry average of around 30x, so you’ll need to spin through a decent amount of play before you can cash out. The code is easy to apply: just paste it in the “Enter Bonus Code” field during deposit. If you prefer a spin‑only offer, the site also offers a separate code, “SPINS50”, that grants 50 free spins on Gonzo’s Quest without any deposit requirement. The difference? The free spins are capped at £100 in winnings, so you can’t walk away with more than that, regardless of how many spins you rack up.
Why the Free Spins Are Worth a Look
Free spins can be a quick way to test the casino’s software. The 50 spins on Gonzo’s Quest run at 0.02 p per spin, meaning you’re spending just £1 for a chance at a £100 win. That’s a 1:100 payout ratio on the free play alone, which is decent for a demo slot. However, the spins expire after 24 hours, so you need to be quick if you want to capitalize on a hot session.
Game Library: Size, Variety, and Quality
VeryWell Casino hosts roughly 400 titles from three major providers: NetEnt, Microgaming, and Evolution Gaming. That includes classic slots like Book of Dead, table games such as blackjack and roulette, and a live casino section with a single Evolution dealer for baccarat. While the selection is solid, there are only two live dealers, which can be a bottleneck during peak times. If you’re a fan of high‑volume live play, you might feel the limit.
Software Performance and Mobile Experience
The site runs on HTML5, so all games load within 5 seconds on a standard broadband connection. The mobile app is not available, but the responsive site works well on iPhone and Android. I tested a few slots on my phone and the graphics stayed crisp, though the spin button lagged slightly on the older model I used. That’s a minor annoyance for casual play but not a deal‑breaker.
Deposits, Withdrawals, and Customer Support
Depositing is painless: Visa, Mastercard, and e‑wallets like PayPal and Skrill are accepted. The first deposit must be at least £20, and there’s a 5% fee for PayPal. Withdrawals are processed via the same method you used to deposit, with a 48‑hour turnaround for e‑wallets and 3‑5 business days for bank transfers. The verywell withdrawal process is straightforward, but you’ll notice a 10% fee on the first withdrawal if you choose a bank transfer.
Customer support is reachable via live chat and email. The live chat responds within 30 seconds, but the email turnaround can take up to 24 hours. I had a question about the 40x wagering requirement, and the agent clarified that the requirement applies only to the bonus amount, not the matched deposit. That transparency is a plus.

Final Verdict: A Solid Choice with a Few Caveats
VeryWell Casino UK delivers a generous welcome offer, a decent range of games, and a user‑friendly login experience. The main drawback is the high wagering requirement on the bonus and the limited live dealer roster, which could frustrate players looking for a more dynamic live casino. If you’re comfortable with a 40x requirement and don’t mind waiting a few days for a bank transfer, this casino is worth a spin. For those who prefer instant payouts or a broader live gaming selection, you might want to explore other options. Overall, VeryWell offers a solid, if slightly conservative, gaming experience that rewards both new and seasoned players.
